Pretendians are European settlers who take on false Indigenous identity. It comes from wounding. It comes from being cut off from Land and source.

We are called by Land to Belong, but this is not the way.

Today we talk with Bogs, a Mi'kmaq student of Environmental Sociology at McGill University in Montreal. Bogs has started a non-profit in service of Mother Nature called Good Native Plants.

We talk the difference between Western science and Traditional Indigenous Knowledge and biodiversity as immunity, linguistics + language, and I almost cry because I love the Land so much. We had a lot to share an I interrupted too much.

Jordan Jamieson, MR. SAUGA - a rapper, archeologist, Michi Saagii of the Credit and the creator of the soundtrack to my awakening to vocation in this life.

I LOVE all of this. His album “Earthbound” has been on repeat in my life for over a month. I wake up to Anishinabek words, phrases, and his lyrics in my head. There is synchronicity here for me, and a deep sense of gratitude for his expression of Spirit in the World of Form.

39. The Pretanī Witches are on Turtle Island

I feel like this title needs an explainer.

Pretanī is a more accurate title for the people and land of the original indigenous “Celtic” people of Ireland and the UK. Apparently, “Celtic” was a term applied to the people in the 18th century to differentiate them from Anglo-English.

Desiring a greater connection to Spirit means paying attention to what roots us in identity and Place. “Celtic” descendants will gain from rooting into our Ancestry and how that is revealed on Turtle Island.

We talk Witches and Witchcraft as the remnants of our “Celtic” cultural and spiritual heritage + why I don’t resonate with Wicca. I share what I think are the 2 most important tasks asked of us to become Authentic Expressions of Soul at this time.
