Beloved Presence

Part Three - Who are We?

“Extremely small” is a measure of scale. We are extremely small in comparison to the whole universe.

We are Divine Wholiness together. You are God. You are Beloved Presence. You are the World, the Universe, all of Creation.

We are a particle and a wave at the same time.

I'm listening to Gabor Maté's "The Myth of Normal". It is a weird experience for me to hear from a myriad of different scientific areas, the beliefs and perceptions of mind/body connection that I first encountered through energetic, 'new age', spiritual books like Hands of Light by Barbara Brennan, and Eastern Body, Western Mind by Anodea Judith.

This is not new, and Maté says as much. The understanding of mind body connection with the whole of the universe has been a commonplace acceptable truth in Eastern world view for millennium. Western science is just starting to come around to the reality, and there's still resistance.

We embody Divine Wholiness.

We embody the energy of all of Creation and we share it with the world. We are not becoming, we are not learning, we are remembering who we have been all along.

Growth and healing is becoming aware of and dissolving all of the ways we prevent re-membering our wholiness.

It's not an end goal.

We don't "do the re-membering" and then get “done” and we get to go on and live our lives in perfected harmony. I have fallen into this (w)hole a number of times. I've had the attitude, "if I just fix/heal this then I can be happy and satisfied", "if this, then that". Except it doesn't work that way.

This IS that. My Elder Jane says, "the Object in the way IS the way." Fuck. lol.

We are in a process together. We are working out our shit together and we've all ultimately got the same ends - to remember our wholiness and live from the source of Beloved Presence.

My Elder Paul says we don't have to like everybody while we do it. We do have to honour their presence and accept that they too are us and are part of the wholiness. Even the Sour Men.

Superpower Magic

We get what we believe.

Believing is seeing, not the other way around. There is no existence outside of our perception of it - all of existence is a subjective experience.

What are we capable of when we believe ourselves to be divine wholiness and Beloved Presence to each other?

This single truth keeps me from being too worried about what's happening in the world.

These global crises are an externalization of the resistance to the truth of our wholiness.

Our wholiness together is what is true and what is real, and the more people who remember and share this truth in the world, the more it will spread and be remembered and shared and on and on... this is what's happening.

Right now.

I've known the truth of wholiness since I was 21 and it's never been so globally present and broadcast and available and shared as it is right now. Don't be fooled by the crises - that isn't proof that our spiritual awakening isn't happening, it's the proof that it is.

We are infinite Universes of discovery for one another.

All beings, not just human beings.

Right now we are in a growing global awareness. We are shifting into connection and wholiness on a planetary basis. Our actual existence in wholiness is Galactic, Universal - it doesn't stop at the edge of the Milky Way or our universe... we are literal infinite existence being expressed through the flesh of the Earth.

However, right now we are participating in the acceptance of planetary consciousness.

Our boundaries of home and wholiness are extending to include the entirety of the planet. The entirety of it. All beings here. All humans and non-human beings - everything. Everything. This is happening, has always been happening - just more of us are becoming conscious of our wholiness.

We exist to share our experience of Beloved Presence with one another, with all beings on the planet. You teach me about Beloved Presence. By existing and sharing your perception of being alive with me, you expand my understanding of the possibilities and truth of Beloved Presence.

We are infinite universes of discovery to one another.

The path of our lives is windy and often unclear.

Asking for help.

The entirety of creation is supporting us, but we have to ask for it. We have free will to create whatever we want and the universe will serve up what we ask for - and only what we ask for.

We ask in all kinds of unconscious crazy ways and then get a weird bag of mixed results. Our thoughts and day dreams and hopes and wishes are all asks of the universe. Add some emotional feeling juice in there and you're making big asks that the universe answers.

Synchronistic happenings are the bread crumbs of guidance that Creation is giving you to follow. The information or direction or stories that fit exactly with what you need to know right now are examples of Creation being present and responding to your asks - when we're not even aware of what it is we're asking for. Follow the crumbs.

We are in constant communication with the world - overt and covert communication. The goal is to become as aware and mindful as possible to what is being communicated from Creation through all of the everything that exists. We may have short-term or long term goals that we want to achieve or accomplish, but the first and primary goal of being mindful is to become practiced and aware of the connection with Beloved Presence in every moment, in every situation, in every being that we encounter. That is being in the vibe.

We are asked to do the heavy lifting of mindset shifting.

We are asked to become aware of the screw tapes. We are not asked or expected to do anything on our own in our small, limited, physical body selves. We are expected to ask for help from all levels of Creation, from all beings in Creation, and allow the help to arrive in what ever way Beloved Presence sees fit.

If we choose to see ourselves in a loving and helpful Universe, we will see opportunities to receive and give help in an increasing number of ways. It's difficult to not be set on our way of seeing - but it's best if we can refrain from judging ourselves and others when help and opportunity is offered or arrives differently that what we expected.

Help is coming in the exact right way based on what we are willing to accept.

I met a Sikh man Dr. Singh, at my work and we had a lovely conversation about spirituality and right relationship to self and the world. Sikhs have a mandate that they always help when asked - it's just what they do. So I questioned the beggars who ask for money at the 401 off ramp stop lights.

What about them?

He never says no. He always gives what he can.

I alternately like, and am exhausted by this. I think that's a great way to be - always give when asked. I don't have to gate keep or decide who is worthy and who isn't and when I give and when I don't.

Just give. Always. Done.

Hooray... except ugh. I'm so tired when I come home from a day in customer service, I get irrationally irritated by a request for money from a beggar. Fuck off, I just worked a day in retail - what do you want from me?

A little help. Goddamit fuck.

I try not to judge myself or them when I'm too tired, don't have anything to give or don't want to engage.

The responsibility to share self with the world

Sharing our truth and purpose and passion with the world is an obligation.

How can I know and learn about myself except through others? How much can you learn if I keep my truth hidden from the world?

Everyone communicates in their own particular, individually expressed frequency, and all frequencies are needed for the wholiness to be sung in completion. The Universe is an orchestral song and every being is required to sing their part to the best of their ability.

We need to share what makes us feel alive.

Even if that sharing is simply being honest when asked about what you love to do and what you're passionate about and what is important to you.

If you love worms - share that love. If you love some weird, obscure method of carving knife handles from pre-Christian Icelandic cultures - share that love. I don't mean you have to have a side hustle or make a website - but share it when you feel guided - be brave enough to share your Beloved Presence with others, it's so important.

Normalizing sharing what we love and what makes us passionate to be alive makes it easier for others to do the same. The fear of ridicule and rejection of what we love is so pervasive and keeps so many of us, including myself from sharing. I have only in the last 2 years started to share what I love with the world in an open and transparent way.

The song of the universe isn't complete until everyone is singing their part - and no one gets to tell us what our part is in the song. Discovering your song is the direct function of your Spirit's expression of Self on Earth. This is the discovery of every day; the uncovering of our ‘unique to us’ frequency of song to contribute to the Universal Orchestra.

When you share your truth and your gifts with the world, it gives me a mirror and permission to share mine which is a mirror and permission for others to do the same, and so on, and so on...

Unshushable

I ask uncomfortable questions and I speak uncomfortable truths. I have always done so and lived a good portion of my life believing that I was the problem. I spent most of my childhood and adult life being told to shush, or being called inappropriate because I ask questions that make people uncomfortable. I don't ask to be malicious or to judge.

I ask because I am genuinely curious about you and your world and would like to know and understand who you are and how you see yourself in the world.

Of course I can be judgemental, like everyone - I am a flawed human being, but my curiosity about others and my questions to know more come from a deep appreciation for your experiences and the wisdom you have to offer from your unique life, lived uniquely by you.

I speak easily and openly about my own experiences with trauma and the healing and growth available to me through those experiences because I want you to feel safe with me in your own painful experiences of trauma. I also want to know what you've been through because you teach me about myself and my world, through your experiences and your understanding of your experiences.

Speaking truth and asking uncomfortable questions makes me a challenge for some to be around - not everybody wants truth telling. Those that don't want to know move out of my sphere very quickly. Some people love truth and uncomfortable questions and those people love me, love what I do and perceive me as a breath of fresh air. Those that want to know, feel seen and welcomed and have a sense of belonging in my Beloved Presence because of the truth we tell.

I don't want palatable lies, they serve no purpose or benefit for me on my path in this life. Truth energizes me and provides solid ground to stand on.

Truth is a firm foundation to grow roots that will last.
