How to Ground Yourself When You're Feeling Cuckoo

I guess this is feeling cuckoo?

Getting grounded is the simple answer to a lot of the spin we can feel as creatives and spiritual people.

Overwhelm, unfocused, muddleheaded...

A lot of that can be attributed to energy circling around in your head and not grounding into the earth, and either dissipating or growing roots as the case may be.

Also, drink more water.

Break the ground beneath your feet

Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and slightly bent. Natural. Comfortable.

Push down with your legs into the ground, as if the spot you’re standing on is a tile, and with enough force that it’s like you’re trying to break it in half.
— Gail Cooper - my energy healer from the '90's

Push down with your legs, then relax.

Push down with all your might and try and break the ground beneath your feet… now relax.

Do that until you feel the energies flowing through your legs deep into the earth. Your legs might feel shaky and your body might feel weird, or even a little bit sick.

Getting grounded after not being grounded for awhile can make you feel sick.

I threw up the first time I did this. Then, felt fantastic.

You’ll feel a difference in your clarity, focus and freshness.

This, and hanging from the waist to touch my toes and let my head pull down with gravity and every breath, are 2 go to refreshing and grounding energy exercises.
