14. The Honourable Harvest
Guidance Given to Us by the Earth
The Honourable Harvest are the rules of being neighbourly with the beings that Share the Earth - given to human beings from the Beings of the Earth. These guidelines are how the plants and animals want us to to treat them. These are the learned harmonies of interaction with the Land.
Over thousands and thousands of years of interested and engaged observation and insight, Indigenous nations have gathered together a view point of interaction with the world that is sustainable, respectful and deeply reverent of the Selfhood of all Beings in Creation.
The Honourable Harvest is based in the 7 Generations understanding that every action that we take must be one that supports and sustains all Beings into 7 Generations after us. There can be no actions taken that threaten the quality and abundance of life for all Beings for at least the next 150 years.
The Practice

Research The Honourable Harvest and incorporate as many of the tenets as possible as often as possible. Strive for all and be rewarded with an abundant Earth that will thrive for ever.
